Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose Sea Lites?
We are the original inventors of submersible lighting systems, and have taken great care to ensure that we released a
product that will provide the service life, durability standards, and safety requirements any conscientious consumer
should expect from a high-end product.

How long will they last?
Special halogen bulbs provide a life expectancy greater than 2 years with normal everyday useage.

How much will it cost to run my Sea Lites?
Since these are low-voltage systems, they are very economical to operate. Nightly usage should average out to around
2.00 monthly per 2 light set.

What maintenance is required?
Sea Lites maintenance will largely depend on the type of water in which they are installed. Freshwater or true marine
environments such as the Bahamas will seldomly require maintenance, save for the occasional hose down to remove accrued growth. Brackish water, which more fouling organisms tend to thrive in, will require that you clean the light units bi-monthly.

What if a boat picks one up in the propeller?
Sea Lites are equipped with strain-relieved cords which are highly durable. In the event that a cord is sliced or punctured
in some way, simply send it back to the factory and we’ll get it fixed for you.

Do I have to pay extra for some schmo to install my lights?
Though our staff is highly trained in installation procedures, Sea Lites were designed for effortless end-user installation.
Installation involves a simple toss into the water at desired locations, and securing of excess cable via provided cord ties.

What if a bulb burns out?
We offer a Sea Lite lamp replacement kit. This includes a replacement lens, gasket, halogen bulb, stainless hardware, and
detailed instructions on how to repair your light units.

What if people swim in my desired Sea Lite location?
Sea Lites are a LOW VOLTAGE system. So even if something were to happen to running light systems while people were
in the water, they would remain out of harms way.

What is stopping me from calling and ordering Sea Lites today?
Good question, our dedicated staff is standing by!
